Cristobal Morales has been an associate at our firm since 2017, specializing in Mergers & Acquisitions, Banking & Finance, and Capital Markets.

He provides advice to both domestic and international clients on mergers and acquisitions, including negotiating and drafting share sale and purchase agreements, asset sales, shareholders’ agreements, and due diligence processes. Additionally, Cristobal handles general corporate matters.

His extensive experience includes advising major corporations and global financial institutions on domestic and international project development & finance, acquisition and leverage finance, mezzanine and distressed debt deals, as well as debt and equity capital markets transactions.

Cristobal has also been involved in bond issuances in both local and foreign markets and other securities market matters, including domestic IPOs.

Between 2023 and 2025, he worked as an international associate at Holland & Knight LLP.

• Advised WarnerMedia, a North American multinational mass media and entertainment conglomerate, in the sale of Red de Televisión Chilevisión S.A., one of the biggest Chilean free-to-air channels, to ViacomCBS.
• Advised WarnerMedia in the acquisition of Canal del Fútbol SpA (CDF), a Chilean pay-per-view channel that exclusively owns the broadcasting rights of the professional soccer league, for approximately US$1,4 billion.
• Advised Cooperatieve Rabobank U.A., DNB Bank ASA, and Banco de Crédito e Inversiones (BCI) on a syndicated loan granted to Salmones Multiexport S.A., a Chilean aquaculture company, for up to US$250 million.
• Advised Australis Mar S.A., a Chilean aquaculture company, on a loan of up to US$160 million granted by Bank of China.
• Advised Compañía Cervecerías Unidas S.A. (CCU), a publicly traded multi-category beverage company, on various bond issuances and placements totaling over US$1 billion.
• Advised Empresa de los Ferrocarriles del Estado S.A. (EFE), a state-owned passenger and freight transport company in Chile, on various bond issuances and placements totaling over US$300 million.
• Advised Automotores Gildemeister SpA on its restructuring process under Chapter 11 (pre-packaged) of the United States Bankruptcy Code.
