Experience

Miguel is an associate of our firm since 2019. He is part of the Regulatory Law team, and has focused his practice on matters of regulated public utilities; energy projects; sanitary; environmental law; constitutional law; administrative contracting; and advising different clients in the management of permits.

On a daily basis, he advises clients from different sectors in matters related to administrative law, such as, challenging administrative acts, the development of sanctioning procedures followed by different administrative entities (for example, Municipalities, Cenabast, Seremi de Salud, Superintendencia del Medio Ambiente, etc.); the participation of clients in bidding processes; obtaining and renewing permits for the operation of different types of activities; analysis and assistance in relation to issues related to urban development law; and also provides advice in the analysis of different matters of public procurement.

Miguel has also participated in due diligence processes for the sale and purchase of assets in different areas, such as dairy production, energy generation, forestry, fishing, exploitation of mining resources and real estate assets.

He has also advised domestic and foreign clients in the negotiation of contracts in different economic sectors and has also participated in the implementation of projects with governmental entities.
